NAUTILUS
𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟔.𝟎 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭
Nautilus is a manual marine drone designed to protect the ocean ecosystem by:
🔹 Monitoring water quality in real-time 🔹 Filtering microplastics and discharging clean water 🔹 Operating in critical marine areas like the Mediterranean Sea and Strait of Gibraltar
Built using Arduino Nano and Uno,programed in PictoBlox, and equipped with:
Ultrasonic Sensor (JSN-SR04T) DHT11 Temperature Sensor Air Pressure Sensor (TM7711) Turbidity Sensor DC Motors with L298N drivers Cooling Fan Water Pumps and UV Filtration System
Manual marine drone designed to protect the ocean ecosystem
It has advanced sensors (ultrasonic, temperature, pressure, turbidity) that monitor water conditions, target areas being the Mediterranean Sea.
Nautilus includes a filtration system with water pumps and UV light to clean water and eliminate pollutants, making fish breeding zones secure.

Process
Arduino Nano & Uno with Pictoblox
It is controlled by Arduino Nano and Uno and uses DC motors for movement and a cooling fan for preventing overheating. It is made waterproof so it can operate underwater. It is an underwater solution, unlike surface solutions like Ocean Cleanup, where Nautilus can operate underwater, with real time monitoring, active filtration, and effective movement.
This compact, low-cost project is scalable for ocean protection, solving space, power, and sensor issues with clever design. Its modular design allows adaptability, ensuring long-term reliability and greater environmental impact.
Existing Solutions
Ocean Cleanup: Focused on large-scale plastic removal, targeting surface-level pollution.
OpenROV Trident: A lightweight underwater drone for exploration and data collection, lacking filtration and pollution-cleaning functionality.
Blue Robotics Products: Specializes in underwater platforms like ROVs and marine thrusters, without direct environmental restoration focus.
Marine Drone Solutions (e.g., SeaClear Project): Effective for trash removal but lacks real-time water quality monitoring or habitat protection.
Eco-Drones: Focused on cleaning waterways and surface areas, without addressing underwater ecosystems or real-time habitat monitoring.

How Nautilus Stands Out:
- Nautilus redefines marine conservation by combining real-time water monitoring, underwater pollution filtration, and marine habitat protection in one compact, cost-effective device.
- Unlike competitors focused on surface cleanup, Nautilus operates underwater, targeting microplastics and safeguarding sensitive ecosystems like fish breeding grounds.
- Its modular design ensures versatility across aquatic environments, making it an innovative, scalable, and impactful solution for preserving marine life and water quality
